Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman is an American gymnast who was an athlete and captain of 2012's Fierce Five team as well as 2016 Final Five US Women's Olympic gymnastics teams. Aly Raisman took home three gold medals during the 2012 Olympics, in London. Additionally, she brought home a bronze on the balance beam. This made her one of the very first American gymnast in the Olympics with the highest number of medals. In the 2016, Olympics she won an Olympic gold medal for the team event, which gave her and co-teammate Gabby Douglas the credit of been among the few Americans to earn back-to-back gold medals for the team. Additionally, she took home two silver medals in the floor exercise and individual all-around. Three years have passed since she last competed in competitive gymnastics. In addition, she was a member of two gold-winning American gymnastics squads. She began learning gymnastics at the age of two and her favourite event is floor exercises. Aly has a strong support for an organization called the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organization to honor her mother who died due to cancer. She plans to pursue the field of fashion, and is looking to increase her line of signature leotards and socks in future. Fierce is a novel she's working on, will be released later in the year.
